Privacy Policy
How we handle personal data – transparently, sparingly and in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This is a courtesy translation — the German version is legally binding.

2. Privacy at a glance
This website is a static information site. We use no cookies, no tracking, no analytics tools and no embedded third-party content (such as maps, videos or fonts from external servers). Personal data is processed only to the extent technically required to operate the website (server log files) and to handle your contact inquiry.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by an external service provider:

The provider processes personal data on our behalf that is collected automatically when the website is accessed. In so-called server log files, the hosting provider collects, among other things, the following data transmitted automatically by your browser:
- anonymised or truncated IP address of the accessing device
- date and time of access
- file or page accessed and volume of data transferred
- confirmation of successful retrieval (HTTP status code)
- browser type and operating system used
- previously visited page (referrer), where transmitted
This data is not merged with other data sources. Collection is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation as well as the security and stability of our website. Where processing of server log files serves to defend against attacks, this is also the legal basis.
Where required, we have concluded a data-processing agreement with the hosting provider (Art. 28 GDPR).
4. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, phone or via a contact form, your details (e.g. name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your inquiry) are stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request and in case of follow-up questions.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract. In all other cases the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
The data you transmit remains with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. once your request has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods under commercial and tax law – remain unaffected.
5. Your rights as a data subject
Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions you have the following rights at any time:
- Access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure of your stored data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
If you have given consent, you may revoke it at any time with effect for the future. An informal message to the contact details above is sufficient to exercise your rights.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
In the event of data-protection violations you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:

6. Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period has been stated within this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for erasure or revoke consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible grounds for storage — such as retention periods under tax or commercial law; in the latter case, deletion takes place once those grounds cease to apply.
7. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address line changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar. When SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
